I've been wanting to see this movie although February would have been a more appropriate month.  What a great cast of celebrities!  A n enjoyable romantic comedy that will keep you entertained if for no other reason because of so many well-known actors.

I wanted to read this before I see the movie.  It is a wonderful tale of adventure, romance and human drama with a surprise ending that made me laugh and cry at the same time.  Highly recommended!

Blue Valentine - DVD

Not sure if this movie was meant to point out the realities and tediousness of how some relationships can go, or to point out the choices and consequences made by young people in our culture. Either way, this movie is a bit slow but you keep going because you want to find out how these two end up. Both actors make these characters emotional and believable  - Michelle Williams plays Cindy, and Ryan Gosling plays Dean. Parts of this movie are quite intimate. Rated R.

Another cute Drew Barrymore movie. Her movies are funny and usually end well. I enjoyed it.

Another great film from Neil Jordan. I love Irish fairy tales. Dark at times and a little slow in parts, it's worth the watch (plus, Colin Farrell is the star). Another Irish movie regarding selkies is one of my all-time favorites, The Secret of Roan Inish. Both movies are unexpectedly different.
