Ready Player One

If you remember the 80's and you were into video games you'll enjoy this book. It's 2044 and the Earth is an ugly place. Most of the fossil fuel is gone and food and land are in short supply. For relief most citizens escape into a virtual world called Oasis. The Oasis creator, a fan of 80's pop culture has set up a game with the winner inheriting his fortune. From the very first page, I couldn't put this novel down. Best new book/new author I've read in a long time.
