There are many book groups in and around Grand County, some of which have been running for twenty years or more. Grand County Library District lends them support by tracking down and ordering multiple copies of books for the readers. Three of the Grand County libraries have book groups which meet regularly in the library and are open to all. The library book groups are a great way to find out if you enjoy the book group experience. Beware! Attending can become quite addictive.

  • Hot Sulphur Springs Book Group: Meets in the Hot Sulphur Springs Library on the second Monday of the month from 5:30-6:30pm. Members tend to favor adult fiction and look for slightly unusual titles. The book group motto is “If you liked it come, if you didn’t like it come and if you didn’t read it come anyway”.
