About the Grand County Library District

We need your help !

The Juniper Library at Grand Lake and the Granby Library are built, and people in all of the Grand County communities are enjoying the beautiful library spaces. However, the Mountain Libraries Campaign continues. The Campaign has raised $2,081,361, including $250,000 in generous challenge grants; that is, $200,000 from the Gates Family Foundation of Denver and $50,000 from the Boettcher Foundation. These grants challenge Grand County Library District (GCLD) and the Mountain Libraries Capital Campaign to raise another $318,369 to attain its intermediate goal of $2.4 million by September, 2008 or lose these grants of $250,000.

Please join us in reaching this goal and be a part of our success. Your immediate donation, plus any amount you feel you can pledge over the next five years, will count toward meeting the intermediate goal. All donors of $100 or more will be recognized within the new libraries and every dollar raised towards the construction costs of these buildings not only helps us win these challenge grants and reach our intermediate goal, but also guarantees the continuation of quality library services and programs in our rapidly growing communities.

Thank you for considering a donation.
For more information ask your library staff or call
