American Memory Collection

American Memory provides free and open access through the Internet to written and spoken words, sound recordings, still and moving images, prints, maps, and sheet music that document the American experience. It is a digital record of American history and creativity. These materials, from the collections of the Library of Congress and other institutions, chronicle historical events, people, places, and ideas that continue to shape America, serving the public as a resource for education and lifelong learning.

Arizona v. California Collection at the William A. Wise Law Library

The Arizona v. California Collection at the William A. Wise Law Library contains more than 160 full-text, searchable pleadings, briefs, orders, transcripts, and reports from the historic, 12-year original proceeding in the U.S. Supreme Court filed by the State of Arizona against the State of California, which sought to clarify rights to the use of Colorado River basin water. The case culminated in a June 3, 1963 decision, reported in Arizona v. California , 373 U.S. 546 , which was implemented by a March 9, 1964 decree, reported in Arizona v. California , 376 U.S. 340 .

Colorado Grants Guide

The new and revised Colorado Grants Guide is the premier online funding tool specifically created for nonprofit and community-based organizations in Colorado. The guide is produced by the Community Resource Center, a nonprofit with 30 years of experience connecting grant-seekers with grant-makers. This guide will provide you with: Continuously updated funder profiles, library access via an Internet connection, an easy-to-use “search screen”, a quick way to target funders who are interested in your funding needs and, immediate access to a foundation’s website (when available).This online guide is available for use on any public access computer at all 5 Grand County Library District locations.
