Winter Reading Adventure

Looking for something fun to do inside on the cold, wintery days ahead?  Inspired by a library patron's request, our GCLD libraries are hosting a Winter Reading Adventure for all ages.  This includes everyone, from infants to adults!  Readers will journey through 3 books in 3 genres in 3 months, beginning November 1, and ending January 31.

The challenge is to read one fiction book, one non-fiction book, and to listen to either a fiction or non-fiction audio-book on Libby by OverDrive, CD, or Wonderbook/VOX.  Why not try a fiction book from a genre or author that is new to you?  For nonfiction, you can explore any topic of interest.  If you need help getting set up with one of our audiobook formats, a librarian will be eager to assist you.

You may log your reads on a Winter Reading Adventure bookmark available for pickup at your library.  Submit the completed log any time during the week of February 1st. All finishers will earn a small prize and be entered into a special prize drawing.  We can't wait to hear about your winter reading adventures!
