Check-out snowshoes this winter!

Come this December, each GCLD branch will have snowshoes that patrons can check-out for a week!

Redfeather Snowshoes, made in the USA, have been ordered to help our patrons enjoy the wonders of Grand County winters.

Six sizes will be available, the smallest size is 17" and is recommended for those weighing up to 75 pounds and the largest size is 35/36" and is suitable for over 220 pounds.

Reserve a pair or 2 or 6, check-out Deborah Carr's book, Backcountry Skiing and Snowshoeing in Grand County, Colorado: A Guide to Backcountry Tours for Winter Park, James Peak Area, Fraser Valley, Indian Peaks, Rocky Mountain National Park, Troublesome Area, Williams Fork Mountains and Beyond, and/or reserve an Access Grand day pass to Snow Mountain Ranch/YMCA of the Rockies to explore their snowshoe and cross-country ski trails.

Access Grand also has day passes to Winter Park Ski Area! When you make your reservation at gcld.org, you will then be told to show your reservation to a librarian to get your voucher. You may get your voucher up to 3 days ahead of your reservation date. There will be one pass per day available and patrons will be able to reserve one voucher for the 2021-2022 ski year.
