Instantly read, watch, and listen to your choice of more than 1,000,000 titles with hoopla!
Grand County Library District (GCLD) adds library content streaming service hoopla digital to the online resources collection this month.
With hoopla digital, GCLD patrons can now instantly read, watch, and listen to their choice of more than 1,000,000 titles, for free with their library card.
The popular on-demand streaming service hoopla digital is now available for free at all five branches of GCLD. Library card holders can access over 1,000,000 titles (audiobooks, eBooks, comics, music, movies, and TV). Content can be streamed from any computer or mobile device by downloading the hoopla digital app for iOS and Android.
With hoopla, GCLD now offers patrons a vast digital collection that maximizes the power of a library card. Hoopla has pioneered a unique model that allows patrons to borrow content immediately from anywhere. Its platform integrates multiple media formats into a single intuitive user experience.
“We are so excited to be able to offer hoopla to our patrons! It is easy to use too, which for this old timer is a breath of fresh air. Simply download the hoopla app, follow the simple setup steps, enter your GCLD card number and presto, you have access to more titles than would fit in all five of our libraries combined. And the first obscure title I looked for popped right up. I can’t wait to explore the entire platform,” said Tallie Gray, Director of Library Resources.
The hoopla digital collection includes popular entertainment and educational content, such as hit TV series, newly released music, bestselling audiobooks and eBooks, comics, and much more. With hoopla digital, patrons can borrow, instantly stream, and download dynamic content with a valid Library card. All content is accessible via hoopla digital’s mobile app and online at hoopladigital.com.
If you need assistance in downloading the app, please contact your local GCLD library. Enjoy!
