During May's month-long celebration of books by and for Latinos, check out This Is How You Lose Her, the critically acclaimed short story collection by Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Junot Diaz. In these dazzling stories, Diaz chronicles the romantic pursuits and disappointments of Yunior, a recurring character who longs to be in a loving relationship but can't seem to sustain one. In several of the stories, Yunior struggles to deal with the machismo legacies of his Dominican culture and change his cheating ways. As always, Diaz writes with breathtaking insight about love, cultural assimilation and family heritage.

Local artists, organizations, businesses and groups transform their favorite BOOKS into magical  tabletops. Each table is as unique as the group that created it. No limits-- except your imagination!!! All proceeds benefit the Grand County Library District.
