Jeremy has lived in Grand County since moving from Flagstaff, AZ, in September 2018, and works in land conservation and nonprofit management. Grand County is a wonderful community in which he can live and learn for many years to come. Among other activities, Jeremy is involved in the Granby Rotary Club and sits on the boards of a handful of community and regional organizations in Colorado and Arizona. Jeremy is an avid reader, enjoying texts of all genres, from Westerns to political memoirs and from fantasy to ecological treatises. He actively encourages his friends to read, including partaking in online and community book exchanges; a book club he created and developed through his work in Flagstaff was passed to the local library system after he left for Colorado and is still going strong. Jeremy is invested in his local community and strives to better himself through active engagement and collaboration with his neighbors, and he looks forward to making a positive impact on the Grand County Library District Board of Trustees. Jeremy enjoys backpacking, running, hiking, playing music, reading, writing, and hanging out with his dog, Cauliflower.

Colorado native Jen Goertz grew up in Montezuma County before attending Colorado School of Mines, where she met her partner, Ben. They moved to Kremmling in 2018, where they are raising one energetic preschooler and one codependent cat.
Jen works in telecom data analysis. She is an avid reader and also enjoys baking, crochet, and generally making things.

The library, I believe, has been and continues to be, an integral part, and often the nucleus, of any vibrant community, especially in smaller towns. I have been amazed to see how the GC library system continually provides ever expanding offerings and engages an expansive variety of audiences in the community. As such, I am excited to actively support its continued development by joining the board of GCLD .
My wife and I built our home in Grand Lake in 2017-2018, and enjoy the lifestyle and the community .
I believe in giving back by being an active and engaged member of the community. I am involved with the following organizations :

- Grand Lake Area Chamber of Commerce - Board Vice President

Volunteering provides great continued learning as well as community engagement, two of my passions. The GCLD is certainly right in line with both of them.

BS Clarkson College 1972, MBA Fairleigh Dickinson University 1975, 40+ years international corporate world in heavy equipment for mining and construction industries. Increasing responsibilities with last 15 as President/ General Manager of a business unit.

Miriam Roskam, Michigan born, moved to the mountains in 2018 after falling in love with beautiful Grand County. With a background in criminal justice and with a former decorated career in law enforcement, she now spends her time helping people in a different capacity. In 2021, Miriam opened Grand County’s only bookstore where she now spends her time sharing her passion for reading with others.
Growing up and to this day, Miriam can often be found carrying a book around with her. When she isn’t reading, she enjoys hiking, snowboarding, traveling, antiquing, and spending time with her friends and family. She has put down roots in Hot Sulphur Springs where she enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their four fur babies.

Erika relocated to Fraser in 2014 to be closer to the Rocky Mountains, fueling her passion for downhill mountain biking and snowboarding. Soon after, she met her husband, and they had two daughters. In 2021, Erika and her family moved to Costa Rica, where they spent two years immersing their children in the Spanish language and culture. With over 20 years of experience in the fields of Finance and Financial Technology, Erika now owns a consulting firm that helps businesses scale and grow efficiently. As a proud mother of avid readers who started early, Erika became deeply involved in the reading community in Grand County. Outside work and family life, she enjoys traveling, running, surfing, biking, and skiing with her loved ones.

Jennifer grew up in Colorado visiting Winter Park, and has lived full-time in Granby with her husband and two sons since 2018. After 30 years of working in corporate sales and marketing, she has worked for the last several years at Grand County non-profit organizations in both client services and community engagement.
Jennifer enjoys reading, watching movies and spending time with her family.
